Since the latter is a newer, shinier, and perhaps more rant worthy passion, I'm going to take this first post to share my growing family with fellow Filo-fanatics.
At the moment, I'm using my A5 original, Alice. I will now proceed to bomb this entry with photos of the lovely lady in all her beautiful glory. -teary face-
As you can see, she isn't all that stuffed yet, but I *may or may not have* gone a little crazy with the Filofax back to school sale on non-dated entries... soon she'll be bulging! :) Or maybe not, once my Kikki-K comes in... ;o
Here's a glance at some of the sections I'm toying with right now.
Tabs Not Shown: Mail & Finances
Diary - > Typical diary-section setup. I use MO2Ps and WO2Ps inserts from the Etsy shop Kiddy Qualia. Here are a couple more pictures - the first is the setup of a past week, the other is this week's in-progress setup!
Mail - > Includes address sheets, birthday sheets (one page per month), a list of penpals on Instagram, lists of penpals with Blogs and Youtube channels, and Incoming/Outgoing Mail Logs.
Finances -> Is somewhat neglected at the moment, but I'll need to get in the habit of using it more if I'm to make it through Spendless September.
Notes -> Washi tape reference, everything else.
Self Improvement -> In progress. Will contain subsections that monitor my work towards my goals (i.e. Weight Loss, Reading More, Inspiration, Journaling, and more).
Lists -> To-Do lists, goal lists (year/month/week/day), wishlists, etc.
So that's all I have for this first post! Sorry if it isn't all that interesting, but I haven't really learned HOW to talk about my Filofax just yet. If anyone has any advice for getting into regular blogging or how I can improve my blog setup, finding things to say, or just wants to -y'know, talk about Filofaxes, hit me up!
Thanks for reading! <3

Thanks for sharing, Shelby. I have a sad, neglected blog of my own that could use some love. As a retirement present to myself, I bought an A5 osterly in brown crocodile leather. I'm loving it. Retirement didnt last long though. I retired from teaching high school math in the puplic schools, but the community college has me teaching 8 credit hours this semester. So, the filofax will be very useful! Patty
ReplyDeleteAww, thank you for checking out my blog! :) I've gone and followed yours- I can't wait to look through all your wonderful mailart.
DeleteAnd oh! <3 I only have an Osterley in the personal, but I absolutely love it! <3 Filofax is something new to me since my last semester ended so I am also looking forward to using one of mine as a "college" Filo starting next week. :)
Me should write something on my blog, too... Books ate my life and I weren't drawing for long D: But yesterday I started something new. A complex, A4 colour pencils piece. Haven't done that for over a year. Go, Michi, go!
ReplyDeleteYou spend your money faster than you get it and still call it Finances? Pffft.
Michi, I would cheer you on with your art project, but... that Finances thing was kind of mean. :(
DeleteJust kidding, though. You can do it! (Granted, I did loudly blurt something about "evil bitch friends" when I read it in my office today. :) )
Well done on your first post! I am terrible at blogging, leaving mine empty for months at a time, but I am trying to get better and to include some mail posts. :) - Claire
ReplyDeleteThank you for checking it out, Claire! <3 I appreciate the view and the comment. :) The support is ALWAYS needed.
DeleteGreat first blog post, Shelby :-) Where do you buy your filofaxes?
ReplyDeleteD'aww. <3 Thanks, Charmaine! So far 3 of the 4 in my possession have come from FilofaxUSA (Before everything was out of stock.. :c), and one was purchased from a Filo selling/swapping/buying group on Facebook!
